A new WSU Music Education Alumni Network is being established this spring to offer opportunities to reconnect with old friends, establish new connections, and actively engage with the WSU music education program. The goal of the WSU Music Education Alumni Network is to \u201ccome together and create something truly extraordinary and be a valuable asset to current students and alumni.\u201d The creation of this organization has been spearheaded by a group of recent graduates, including Spokane-based music educator and recent School of Music alum, Bryce Dale, along with alumni Kristina Gaumnitz, Colin Taylor, and Ryan Wheeler.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\n\n

The vision for the Music Education Alumni Network: <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Networking<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Creating opportunities for alumni to reconnect and share their experiences and connect potential student teachers to outstanding WSU alumni mentors.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Supporting Music Education<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Providing support to the music education program through initiatives, such as scholarships and community involvement, as well providing a support system for WSU graduates getting started with their careers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Professional Development<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Offering resources and opportunities for ongoing growth in our fields.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\r\n\n\n
