Performance

The mission of the Washington State University Bands is to provide an environment that fosters performances of the highest level. Musicians have membership opportunities with the Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Cougar Marching Band, Jazz Big Bands and various brass, woodwind, and percussion ensembles.

Prestige

Washington State University Bands and faculty have performed at prestigious conferences including those of the Music Educators National Conference, College Band Directors National Association, Washington Music Educators Association and the International Association for Jazz Education.

Collaboration

The WSU Wind Ensemble commissions new music as well as collaborates with composers and performing artists on a regular basis.
