Join us for a day of double reeds for bassoonists and oboists! Participants will have opportunities to build confidence in oboe and bassoon playing and reed making, as well as rehearsing and performing with double reed musicians from across central Washington.

• • Double Reed Ensemble Rehearsal: Registered participants will receive music to prepare in advance.
  • Master Classes/Sectionals: Participants who wish to play in the Master Class should include repertoire selections when they register.
  • Oboe and Bassoon Choirs: Participants will sight-read intermediate repertoire together by instrument.
  • Reedmaking Classes: The reed is the single most important factor in determining the tone, response, intonation, and resistance levels of the oboe and bassoon. In this session, we will offer recommendations on reed purchasing and easy adjustments to improve your playing.
  • Final Concert: Friends and family are encouraged to join us for our finale concert!
