2022 WMEA Double Reed Audition Material Workshop

The 2022 WMEA All-State auditions are just around the corner! Join WSU School of Music faculty Dr. Keri McCarthy (oboe) and Dr. Jacqueline Wilson (bassoon) for a free workshop covering the required audition materials. After a brief welcome, the oboes and bassoons will split into separate breakout rooms to focus on each instrument’s assigned repertoire. These clinics will focus on practice techniques, correct rhythm, fingering suggestions, breath control, and technique. These sessions are presented in a workshop format and will not require students to perform in order to participate.

Registration is required!

The registration deadline is Friday, September 17th, 2021 at 5:00pm. All participants registered at that time will receive an email with room assignments and further details.
